told ya. we go to beijing tomorrow to stay with my wonderful friend joyce who went to grad school with me at LBJ. really seriously hoping we don't get detained for quarantine. they are holding people for 7 days who are within 3 rows in front or behind of someone with an elevated temperature, suspicious that they might have that dumb swine flu. they find this out by boarding every plane and taking everyone's temperature. i can already tell china will not be good for my sense of personal space. this guy is blogging about life in quarantine.
